Purpose: The aim of this webinar is to assist participants to increase their knowledge and understanding of interdisciplinary conflict in hospice and palliative care teams and to develop strategies for conflict resolution.
Objectives:
- Define team conflict
- Describe the purpose and goals of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) in hospice and palliative care
- Identify common sources of team conflict
- Describe strategies for resolving various types of conflict
Target Audience: Registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses with a specialty in palliative care/hospice, social workers, and allied health professionals
Criteria for Successful Completion:
- Attendance at entire session
- Submission of completed evaluation form
- Successful completion of a posttest; 80% passing grade (mandatory to receive CE credit for social workers)

Physicians: The AAFP has reviewed MJHS Institute for Innovation in MJHS Institute for Innovation in Palliative Care Interprofessional Webinar Series - On Demand (4), and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 10/10/2024 to 10/10/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This session Interprofessional Team Conflict is approved for 1.0 enduring AAFP Elective credit.

Case Managers: This program has been pre-approved by The Commission for Case Manager Certification to provide continuing education credit to CCM® board certified case managers. The course is approved for 1.0 CE contact hour.
